The XpertJet 1642WR Pro 64” is a high-speed dye-sublimation inkjet printer with a new platform that inherits the properties of the Mutoh XpertJet series. New features include extra-wide piezo AccuFine print heads with precise, best-in-class dot placement accuracy, enabling high print speeds and quality.

The XPJ-1642WR Pro benefits and advantages include:

• Unique multi-stage pressure mechanism feeds even thin paper roll media smoothly.
• Automatic Nozzle Checking detects missing nozzles and cleans them to resume operation. If they are not recovered, Nozzle Area Select is performed and printing is resumed using selected active nozzle blocks.
• Media Tracker prints a barcode before removing media. When media is loaded again, a built-in sensor reads the barcode and recognizes the amount of media remaining.
• DropMaster2 is a revolutionary print automation technique which eliminates the need for cumbersome and time consuming media dependent head adjustments.
• Automatic Bi-D alignments with built-in sensor automatically calibrates bi-directional alignments.
• Four-stage head heights allow optimal height on print head to reduce the risk of print head contact.
• FeedMaster built-in sensor allows for enhanced automatic media handling feed adjustment.

DH21 dye-sublimation transfer ink provides superior media transfer and color rendition achieving high density colors with less ink consumption. Fast ink-drying times enables printing on thinner and lighter transfer papers, while excellent jetting and color stability support prolonged print times. DH21 ink is available in a CYMK configuration in 1,000ml or 2,200ml capacity ink bags. The XPJ-1642WR Pro delivers high-quality graphics onto a wide range of materials.
