Mutoh’s new eco-solvent ink gives you improved dot gain, a large color gamut and outstanding durability. This large-bag system uses a permanent drop-in holder instead of hi-pak adaptors, is less expensive, and requires changing less frequently.

The XpertJet 1641SR incorporates automatic bi-directional alignment enabled by a built-in color sensor. You save time as it automatically calibrates printer alignments. A newly-designed 12-sided media feed flange allows operators to easily and quickly load media and exchange multiple rolls. The flange will not be rolling away!

An improved media feed system features state-of-the-art pressure rollers which allow the operator to disengage individual user-selected rollers to prevent delicate media from cockling or binding. This multi-stage tensioning process, along with a high precision aluminum rail mechanism, enhances feed stability and works nicely with a wide range of media.

A redesigned platform ensures easy maintenance and usability. Ease-of-use features include front access of ink cartridge holders, LAN cable and power cords; upgraded touch panel with LED guide displaying only the keys needed for a desired function; added internal LED lighting allowing operator to easily check print status; and a user-friendly status monitor that improves convenience and response by checking the printer’s operation status in real time over the network.

Added features include convenient user-replaceable wiper, improved capping station and a heavy duty ink maintenance pump, and new LED ink status lights that allow you to quickly monitor ink levels. A 66 lb. take-up is included.
